Practical and simple to use
The 10m LightMast is a revolutionary piece of wind monitoring equipment. Manufactured using Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) tubing, it is a totally corrosion-free and lightweight mast, the components of which can easily be carried by one person.
 

With a maximum tube length of only 2.3m, the unassembled LightMast will fit into an average estate car. In combination with its straightforward two-person installation, it forms the perfect basis for prospecting new wind sites quickly and easily.

Fully tested and easy to assemble
The mast is fully tested and was specifically designed to meet class one wind site standards, able to withstand winds of over 150mph.
 

The slot-together tubes are easy to erect and dismantle even in the harshest conditions. Guy wires are made from high-grade stainless steel to survive the harshest climate, and sufficient guy wire is provided to enable good anchoring points to be found, even on difficult terrain.

Leaves only footprints
At the end of the monitoring period, the LightMast can be taken down just as easily, packed back in the vehicle, and taken away to a new site or stored for future use. And within just a few days the site will have completely repaired itself, with no sign that the mast was ever there.
