Other Sensors

The RM Young Temperature/Humidity Sensor is compact, lightweight and protected by a multi-plate radiation and ventilation shield. Designed to monitor temperatures from 3-40° to 85°C ± 1°, the Young sensor requires no power to function and is designed to withstand maximum weather resistance.

The SETRA Barometric Pressure Sensor was designed to withstand remote weather conditions and has been endorsed by governments worldwide. It's simple design features include -

  • high accuracy: ±0.05% FS
  • repeatability within 0.01% FS
  • excellent long term stability
  • low power consumption
  • instant warm up
  • fast response

The RM Young Rain Gauge provides an inexpensive but accurate rainfall measurement. Precipitation is collected in the 200cm2 collector funnel and measured by two calibrated tipping buckets. Accuracy is 2% up to 25mm/hr and 3% up to 50mm/hr. Available with or without a heater, the RM Young Rain Gauge operates at a temperature range of -20°C to +50°C. Levelling screws are built in.

The Skye Instruments SKL2650 Solarimeter is similar to the 'Licor' style and uses a silicon PV cell with a cosine corrected filter.
